Another Fan in Another Time

I havent seen Fanboys.  But there's no way it could live up to the build up of coverage it received for three years before being released.  On the other hand, a similar film, but only in subject matter, is being released soon.  Called '77.  Starring John Francis Delay (Sam Weir from Freaks and Geeks) playing a geek, in the year of '77, the premiere of Star Wars: A New Hope.  I'm not going to lie to you, this film looks awesome.  Not as slapstick as Fanboys appears to be, but somewhat of a hopeful film.  Damn you Lucas!  You screwed up a franchise, and yet some how more films are being made now about geeks loving your films.  I still love you, even if you did create Jar Jar.
